Who we are

This notice covers this website and its waitlist. The Tukalos app is still in development and isn't available yet.
What we collect
When you join the waitlist, we collect:
- your email address
- your city
- your neighbourhood, if you choose to give it
- what you're most interested in (getting things, offering things, both, or a local business)
We don't ask for your name, phone number or exact location.
Why we collect it
- To email you about Tukalos's launch and related updates, which you agreed to when you joined.
- To understand where people are interested, so we can decide where Tukalos opens first.
Where it's stored
Waitlist sign-ups are stored by Supabase, the database service Tukalos uses, in its Canadian data centre. Only the Tukalos team can see the list.
Other services this website uses
- Google Fonts. The website's fonts load from Google, so Google receives your IP address and basic browser details when you open a page.
- Our website host. Cloudflare, Inc. hosts this website and may keep standard server records, such as IP addresses, to run and secure it. Cloudflare is based in the United States, so these records may be processed outside Canada.
This website doesn't use analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies.
Emails
We don't currently send an automatic confirmation email when you join. If we email you, it will be about Tukalos. You can ask us to stop emailing you at any time by writing to [contact email].
How long we keep it
We keep your details until you ask us to delete them, or until we no longer need them for launch updates, whichever comes first.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete the details we hold about you by emailing [contact email]. We aim to reply within 30 days. We never sell your information.
Changes to this notice
If we change how we handle your details, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
